Bad website example

This is an example of a really poor website. I came across this website while looking for some information about Nostradamus on a Polish site. From the usability point of view the design is very bad and looks unprofessional. All usability experts advise to put a text on a background which does not distract a user from reading. On this website that rule was not maintained, thus the text is hard to read and for people with vision disabilities is not readable at all. It would be the best to place a black text on a white background and use a font size at around 12 pt. Here we can see that somebody used a picture as a background which is repeated on the whole window and put a white text on it. This is a common mistake which new web designers make and should be avoided. Additionally, we can notice that the text is displayed in a wrong format and instead od Polish signs we can see a default signs. For non-native speakers of Polish translating the text would be just impossible.
